What is the seminar about?
Sexuality is a fundamental human need, yet it often receives little attention in therapeutic training. Enjoyable sexuality requires learning processes that many people have had little opportunity to experience. As a result, sexual concerns are frequently encountered in therapeutic and counseling settings.
Sexocorporel is a practice-oriented approach to the assessment and treatment of sexual dysfunctions. It considers the person as a whole, as an integrated unity of body and mind. The neurophysiological connection between the body, emotions, and thoughts is central to this approach. In addition to cognitive processing, physical strategies such as mindful self-awareness, learning new movement patterns, and regulating the autonomic nervous system are used to expand ways of thinking and acting, as well as the erotic experience of oneself and of the other person.
What will you gain from the seminar?
In this practice-oriented seminar, we aim to raise your awareness of the importance of sexual learning processes in addressing sexual concerns through role-play counseling situations and simple exercises. In addition to theoretical foundations, role plays, movement, and breathing explorations are used. You will become familiar with key Sexocorporel concepts and methods and can take away ideas and practical impulses for your everyday life or counseling practice. Please have a mat available for exercises on the floor.
Are you interested in the Sexocorporel Sexual Therapy Training?
This day also gives you an insight into the teaching and working methods used in the Sexocorporel Training. You will meet the lecturers and have the opportunity to ask questions about the content, structure, and organization of the training programs, as well as your own personal goals. Please note: Although the content of the training is the same at both locations, Zurich and Kißlegg, the teaching team and organization differ. If you are interested in completing the training in Zurich, we recommend attending the in-person introductory seminars in Zurich.
